Objective: Discuss how to deal with confusion around conflicting AML classification systems.

Description:
A presentation and discussion of what’s new in AML classification; and the confusion arising
therefrom.

Some of the questions we will discuss are:
1. What are the similarities and differences between WHO, ICC, and ELN regarding the
classification of AML?
2. How should we interpret these differences and how may these differences influence
clinical practice?
3. What questions should we be asking/answering going forward?
